Hillpointe Ranks No. 5 Developer and No. 7 Builder in the 2026 NMHC 50
The National Multifamily Housing Council ranked Hillpointe No. 5 on its Top 25 Developers list and No. 7 on its Top 25 Builders list in the 2026 NMHC 50. The placements reflect the 5,466 apartment units Hillpointe started in 2025.
In 2025 the council ranked Hillpointe No. 4 among developers and No. 6 among builders, so the firm again appears on both national lists.
About the NMHC 50
The National Multifamily Housing Council publishes the NMHC 50 each year. It ranks the largest apartment owners, managers, developers, and builders in the United States, and its developer and builder lists are a common measure of how much housing a firm is producing.
How Hillpointe works
Hillpointe develops, builds, and manages its communities in house, with construction through Hillpointe Construction and engineering through KSH Engineering. As of September 2026 the firm had more than 14,000 units under management and about 9,000 units under construction across its markets.
